Dr. Windham is a proponent of the innate healing capacity of the human body. We don’t heal, she believes, because traditional approaches to dis-ease treatment focus solely on symptoms but ignore underlying factors that cause disease states to begin with. When all such factors are discovered and treated, healing is a natural state of human being.

Dr. Windham entered medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, with a goal to change the face of medicine and has been contributing to positive changes in the field ever since. She worked at the country’s largest Integrative Medicine treatment facility for 12 years and served as the Director of Quality Assurance for the last five years of her career there. She lectures around the country and has been published in medical books and journals, focusing on an Integrative Medical approach.

She recently moved to Regenerative Medical Group, the country’s premier treatment center for amniotic stem cell therapy, autologous immunotherapy and other cutting-edge scientific methods to restore health and wellness. Together, they are working to establish the country’s premier treatment center for immune, autoimmune, psychiatric and chronic dis-ease states such as

Autism
Lupus
Multiple Sclerosis
Parkinson's Disease
Scleroderma
Immune deficiency
Dementia and memory
(the earlier the treatment the better)
Hashimoto's
Ulcerative Colitis
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Crohn's Disease
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Psoriasis
Inflammatory bowel disease
Sjoren's syndrome
Mixed connective tissue disease
Polymyalgia rheumatica
Cancer, all types
Addiction
Depression
Anxiety
Bipolar Disorder
Chronic Infections
Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia

She likes to call herself a Psycho-Neuro-Gastro-Immunologist, understanding that these four system are so intimately linked that they must be investigated and treated together. Throughout her years of practicing medicine, she has earned a reputation among patients and practitioners alike as being compassionate and caring, and is sometimes called the Sherlock Holmes of medicine for her thoroughness and ability to investigate and find treatment options for even the most difficult cases.

Dr. Steve Gorin, MD

The Institute of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics was created on the premise of "primum non nocere" — first do no harm. Our philosophy is to accurately evaluate and diagnose patients and guide them through their journey to improvement.

Depending on your condition, we will begin your course of treatment with a conservative approach. Surgical procedures will be considered only after this conservative treatment does not create the desired outcomes.

At the Institute of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics, we use only the latest techniques and advances in orthopaedics, including those in arthroscopic surgery. If surgery is necessary, you can be assured you will be provided with a superior level of surgical care. Following your surgery we will guide you through post-operative rehabilition so you can quickly return to your normal daily activities.

The Win Within Book Dr Mandelbaum
The Win Within
Capturing Your Victorious Spirit
The Win Within Book Dr Mandelbaum

In The Win Within, Mandelbaum reveals that any of us—no matter our age or physical condition—can capture that same spirit in our own lives. This inner drive to win resides in all of us, he argues, hardwired into our DNA by ancestry dating back millions of years. Readers will learn how to view life the way a top-performing athlete does: relentlessly, tenaciously, positively, and focusing less on the finish line of the marathon and more on the 26.2 miles that precede it.

With narrative support ranging from the lessons of our early ancestors to Mandelbaum's stories of our modern-day gladiators (both household name and lesser known), readers will gain a greater understanding of how and why we're all hardwired to win—and will come away with no shortage of tactics and motivation to capture their own victorious spirit.
